Ryerson University Journalism Department - 2004 - present
- Instructor  - Coordinate internships for fourth-year students. Build university partners
through the internship program. Teach “Introduction to Online Journalism” to second-
year students, including online reporting, writing and editing skills. Mentor students as
they create their online Web sites and feature articles.

Forest Hill Figure Skating Club - 1992 - present
- Skating Coach - Former competitive figure skater who continues to engage in the sport
through coaching. Teach ages 4 through adult. Judge Canadian Figure Skating
Association tests. Certified. Focus on principles of fitness, health, achieving goals and
having fun.

Oregon State University Women Studies Department - 1998 - 2000
- Graduate Teaching Assistant - Taught a total of five different undergraduate courses to
a diverse student body, including  “Women in the Media” and “Women: Self and
Society.” Designed elective courses.
